New technologies to target a more specific audience

Text messaging - Orange Wednesdays, targeted at teenagers who regularly visit the cinemas and have used orange Wednesdays in the past.

Video Games – Allow the film to be promoted through a certain game and would encourage the consumer to watch the movie or buy the game after watching the movie.

YouTube - Film promoters would upload trailers onto YouTube to allow everybody to view them, YouTube would also force you to watch a trailer before watching the desired clip.

Social Networking Sites – Films would be promoted at the younger generation who regularly use the sites, they would also be the genre that would appeal to the consumer.

Emails- Films would send you emails on upcoming films, and things that you are interested in.
