Above the line / Below the line advertising...
Above the line / Below the line advertising is a marketing stratagy used to promote a film, the method used depends on what the initial budget of the film is. For example, a movie such as spider man may use above the line advertising, ths could be things like posters, trailers and billboards.On the other hand, below the line marketing might be used by a lower budget film as it is a cheaper method which would still acheive similar effects, for example, the movie 'dead man's shoes' may of used stratagies such as magazines, websites and viral marketing.
